Ein Sof Gallery hosts an intimate conversation between Liorah Tchiprout and Nicole Zisman, regarding their unique disciplines and upcoming projects. Discussion will centre Liorah’s upcoming solo exhibition ‘The Family Katz’, which offers a portrait of a fictional Jewish family, and Nicole’s upcoming collection ‘Souls from Tohu’ – an analysis of the inner worlds of eight Jewish girls, whose souls travel together between past, present and future.

 

Nicole's and Liorah’s practices are shaped by an ongoing dialogue and friendship — one grounded in exchange, attentiveness and a shared commitment to process. Each occupies a distinct world, yet their approaches resonate with one another’s through an interest in form, narrative, material and the emotional charge carried by objects and figures.

 

Liorah Tchiprout is a London-based artist working across painting, drawing and printmaking. Her practice centres on a constructed world of characters, developed through handmade models and staged compositions that blur the line between observation and invention. Her work has been shown in in London and internationally, and is held in the UK Government Art Collection and the Arts Council Collection. She is represented by Pippy Houldsworth Gallery.

 

Nicole Zisman is an artist and designer based in London. Her eponymous womenswear label introduces the notion that authenticity is the new modernity through a future-glam lens of the designer's Venezuelan Jewish heritage. Judeo-Latin spirituality and aesthetics meld within contemporary visual discussion featuring Nicole’s cross-disciplinary creative approach, unconventional use of craft techniques, and obsession with high-impact, uncompromising visual narratives. Her brand presents at London Fashion Week.
